I would like to cook 10-12 chicken breasts. Can I use a plastic container- the kind that they sell for storage at COSTCO? Thanks!

Welcome! Hi Margarita... I'm not sure what Costco has but if you have a cooler hanging around doing nothing it will work you.

Depending on how it stands up to heat, probably! Got a link?
If you are in doubt, almost anything at a restaurant supply store, a cooler, or a large stock pot would work.

They sell all kinds of storage containers at Costco. As long as the plastic can hold up when exposed to the temperatures when cooking the chicken, then yes, but without knowing exactly what the container it's made from, I'm not sure anyone can give you a definite answer.

i had a 6 rib prime rib roast and a 2 inch massive tomahawk to cook the other night and not container the right size. I used the sink. The sink is very well insulated and most would handle 10-12 breasts no problem. Bonus yet, while sinks have a non magnetic, rust resistant coating the have plenty of magnetix material underneath for support. My Joule with its magnetic foot stuck on nonproblem but i am sure you could find something to clip to as well

You could also use an camping ice chest/cooler.
