Starbucks Sous Vide Egg Bites
Robert_Semmes_35881
Just saw an ad and lots of reviews for a new Starbuck's product that is supposed to be made sous vide and is a nice lower carbohydrate breakfast alternative. Has anybody had them or more importantly know how they make them?

They're mostly cottage cheese. If you have the time to try to make them, you have the time to just cook eggs, make bacon, and make it rain cheese. No matter how you do it, I'm sure it will be better than these things (or your version of these things). If these bites had a fudgy yolk inside, they might be worth making. But they look like a low quality product from a company that serves low quality food in non-restaurants where nobody cooks.

They were a bit more like a custard than an onsen egg or a SV yolk. Kind of tasty.

How do you reheat them if you don't want to eat them cold?
