Brined in Cola with hickory liquid smoke, Worchestershire, Smoked Cayenne Hot Sauce (homemade), garlic powder, onion powder, orange peel, red and black peppercorn, thyme and rosemary, home smoked sea salt and Kentucky Bourbon. Dredged with high gluten bread flower and cornstarch with mostly the same seasonings then battered with dredge + Bourbon and water.
Fried in Lard, Bacon Fat, Goose Fat and Clarified Butter. Topped with a Honey Gochujang drizzle.
Served with Buttermilk Biscuits with Bacon and Sausage Country Gravy + Cultured Butter Whipped with Honey and Sea Salt, Potato Salad, Macaroni Salad and Green Salad. Also had a shrimp cocktail made with live, locally caught shrimp and other snacks during an afternoon long board game session.
Homemade Myer Lemon Ice Cream with Lemon Curd Swirls crumbled with Raspberry Hard Meringue for dessert.
