Do you have your hands on some Pomona Universal Pectin? Good stuff, really easy to work with. It is definitely an LM (low methoxyl) pectin; it depends on calcium to gel and doesn't care about sugar levels. I'm not certain whether it is amidated - I see some sites that say it is but I don't see it on their own site.

yea i was gonna get it but i see it's kinda expensive

It shouldn't be too bad... here it is for $5 for an ounce, which will gel quite a bit, on Amazon:

@ Trevor, I found Pomona's Pectin in bulk - I bought it on Amazon for about $30 for a half pound. It keeps forever. I use it to make jams and jellies and pate de fruit.
