Here I listed food I had in my trip:
Stinky Tofu
It was not that stinky.
It was quite good. Apparent this guy changed the recipe. The tofu was crispy outside and very soft inside. Everything was mixed with soup filled with prickled beans and cilantro.
Red Tofu clear noodle soup
So the red Tofu is duck blood...
The big piece in the middle is stewed duck stomach. Everything is spiced. Very flavorful.
Jelly fish
Sliced jelly fish mixed with vinegar, rice wine and sugar. It is both soft and chewy with a cripsy texture. It is like the cabbage from the sea. I love it.
Fried lotus root
I am not sure how many of you tried this. Lotus root is very refreshing vegetable. If you know how they were picked, you would appreciate it more. When the root is sliced and fried with salt, a bit vinegar, sugar and spring onion, the light fragrance would make your day! It is quite crispy. Love it.
Agrocybe aegerita pot
Agrocybe aegerita is a kind of mushroom.
Spiced the mushroom and serve with brown sugar sauce in a warm pot.
Dry Tofu
They are tied up with a bamboo string.
Smoked fish.
This is on my to do list. Stay tuned.
