Always loved me some Jimmy Dean sausage sliced up and griddled. Always hated trying to slice it then man-handle the nasty meat into some sort of disc shape then cook it without burning it but cooking throughout. Now I freeze it, cut off the wrapper, toss it in a zip-lock, Joule it overnight, then slice & sear! Great for feeding the family.
And yes, I just verb'd Joule.
