Working with more than two machines at the same time

Hi, has anybody worked with two or more of these machines at the same time? I have a steakhouse restaurant and I am thinking to buy a few of these machines, but since they only work via app and Bluetooth, I was wondering how to set each one with different temperature settings.

Until CS releases a version of the Joule app that can support multiple Joules there isn't a good way to reliably control multiple from one device. The best was is to have a separate device with a separate account to sign onto the Joule app for each Joule. The ability to control multiple Joule's from one device is being worked on, many of us can't wait and hope it will be very soon.

As @John_Fisher_218893 they don't have a multi deduce option (yet?) so it might be a good idea to invest in some used cheap electronics: cell phones, tablets, iPods, etc, and have them mounted at each station.

In an environment with multiple circulators and cooks, I would go with models that have a display, and the means to control the temp, on each machine. This allows anyone in the kitchen to see at a glance the temp of a water bath. It allows anyone in the kitchen to change the settings in a few seconds.

The drawback with Joule is having to open an app to change or confirm settings. The 30+ seconds it takes to find the phone, dry your hands, wake the phone, enter the passcode, wait for the handshake to the app shows the current temp, hit cancel on the numerous pop up screens of do-you-want-wi-fi-with-that, to see or change the current temp, is not worth it.

The Joule was not designed with the workflow of a commercial kitchen. Pick someone else for your kitchen.

If you want to go with multiple units (at different or same temps) and be able to control all of them from a single location, you need to look at commercial models such as the Diamond Series from Fusion Chef (which also allow up to 15gal units)

The same could be said for literally any immersion circulator that has built in controls on the unit, commercial models or otherwise.

I've not seen any non-commercial models that support single access and listed monitoring for all of them at the same time.

Unless you're planning on doing some serious tinkering with the networking capabilities of the computer you're planning on plugging the machine into, there's not much of a chance connecting more than one of the units you suggest to a computer, as most do not have more than one port of it's type. I was unable to locate anything on the Fusion Chef website, diamond series or no, that suggested you could control many units from a single computer. If you've found something different on their website, please do share it. Otherwise, that would force you to use the on board controls of the device itself. And when it comes to this, it would literally be the same as every other unit available: go to the unit, set the temperature, hit run; commercial or otherwise.
