My 6 year old daughter wanted to bake this weekend so we made a Boston cream pie! Scratch made cake, pastry cream, and chocolate ganache. She did almost all the work. I just helped a little with the cooktop stuff.

Ha, maybe. I'd sure be jealous. Engineering is great, but I could just as easily see how much fun it would be to "experiment" with food.
