I am a host embarking on his first ever murder mystery party next month! I would love to cater this event myself, preferably with some recipes from y'all.

I was wondering if you could recommend some of your recipes that scale up the best. I will be cooking for 17-20 people. The theme of the party is a tech company merger, so I'm interested in fancy-ish things, but not necessarily expensive things. What if you are doing a murder mystery, I would do a lot of small canapes. A number of things that can be served cold and can be eaten standing up (I presume with the theme it wont be all sit down).... what about minature fried chickens with a homemade spicy honey mustard sauce - on mini waffles (it could be Colonel Mustard's chicken - Colonel for the fried chicken and mustard for the sauce of course).... maybe some rare beef in there along the way, Miniature Blood Orange and Passion Fruit meringue pies (it's a crime of passion)... Spring Pea and Veal Brain ravioli.

Lennard Yeong had a „Hannibal“ dish up some time ago, the Picture was even recognized in the Food section of the German equivalent of Newsweek. Looks simple but compelling for your challenge, just drop a piece of meat on a red beet sauce and you have it.

Love this! Very much reminiscent of Wolvesmouth and so perfect for something like this. I bet one could also do some interesting things with pig's blood and offal.
