Made a small dinner for some colleagues while traveling (w/ Joule).
Booking an apartment (airbnb) helps as I can actually cook meals, but still miss my tools from home.
Some fresh made pasta (I should have looked for a broom stick :-)) .....lobster ravioli served over spicy crispy Spinach with a shellfish curry sauce (brought from home),
Short ribs served over white wine seed mix with celery root puree and herb roasted carrots, sunchokes and maitake mushrooms with a red wine glaze (suffering withdrawl from my pressure cooker).
For desert I wasn't able to find dry ice anywhere close by.
So, I bought a few oatmeal raisin cookies, made a PB&J gelato and made frozen gelato sandwiches (tested the freezing time for proper texture over the last couple of days).
