Voice-controlled joule

Hi! My name is Lilia! I purchased my joule when they were first introduced. Is this particular model voice operated? Does it also have the magnet at the bottom for free standing in steel pots?

There is no Joule (yet anyway) that is voice controlled. If you head over to this page: https://www.chefsteps.com/voice-control, you'll see that it is able to be voice controlled using Amazon Alexa. Alexa uses your voice commands to then operate the Joule. Joules have magnets at the bottom for pots that are magnetic.

Brian covered that. Fair warning about using steel pots though, first definitely use a trivet to keep it off the counter and second be very careful about touching skin when cooking!! Remember the scene in Kung Fu where Kwai Chang gets his dragon tattoo in the Shaolin temple?
