Hi, my name is Jaco, and I'm from South Africa. I work in IT, but spend a lot of my free time cooking.
When I met my life partner 12 years ago, I could hardly fry an egg. Today, I'm inventing my own recipes. I absolutely love my sous vide bath (Joule is near impossible to get hold of here) and use it at least once to twice a week.
I would probably describe my style of cooking as Franco-Indian fusion, but have been experimenting a lot with modernist methods and recipes lately. I'm looking to explore this more in my own cooking.
