I live in NYC, the Bronx, and going shopping can be a multi-cultural adventure.
For instance, my local supermarket carries fish sauce, hoisin sauce, soy sauce in neatly half gallon jugs, and a whole set of paste from Peru (I know, peruvian roast chicken with green sauce is in my future) but there are strange gaps.
So up by Parkchester , an NYC landmark, there's now and "entirely " eastern supermarket (I can give Canal St. a pass).
Not that Amazon hasn't been a life saver but how do the rest of you guys shop?
