Had a few friends over tonight, and this was one of three dishes I served. I wanted to make something with black garlic thanks to Brian's thread, and risotto seemed a good place to start.
More black garlic was added as the risotto cooked out, and it was finished with the last of my ramp butter. Topped with arugula, shaved parm, and some roasted maitakes that were hit with some truffle oil (although not many extra shrooms made it on my portion because I gave them all away like a good host

)
Friends all loved it and I thought it was super tasty as well. It could use some tweaks but I think this is definitely a risotto I'll come back to.
