Did some crabbing on the Chesapeake this morning. We pulled over 2 bushels and feasted in the evening. A giant batch of Maryland crab soup will be brewing for father's day this weekend.

That's right! Simplest recipe there is...crabs and old bay. And plenty of beer. And steamed corn, which we like to roll in the seasoning that comes off the crabs. For Baltimore natives, there's nothing better.

That is what dreams are made of.....fresh seafood plucked from the waters and enjoyed the same damn day. I don't think it gets any better than that.
