Whit band around donuts!

Hello Everybody! I made donuts 5 times now and sometimes I do have a white ring and sometimes not...can somebody tell me how to get it all the time. I fry in vegetabale oil and use butter as ingriedient.

I'd let them proof longer. Sounds like maybe they're not riding high enough in the oil.
