Great Job! Your food always looks awesome.

I am currently engaging in a similar concept where I prepare 5 to 9 course plated dinners in guests home. Have you considered doing individually plated tasting menus rather than family style. Think you would pull it of well given the food you post here!

No problem! Let me know if you need any advice. I would be more than willing to help as needed! They definitely take a lot of planning and forethought. I have had 6 events so far. Usually cook for 10-14 people and # of courses range from 5 to 9. One simple piece of advice is to start off simple and focus on your mise/organization. Choose flavorful dishes that don't use a million components. Definitely enlist another cook and someone to help with dishes. It is next to impossible to pull of a successful tasting menu without help. Once you get comfortable with the events and figure out timing you could expand on the difficulty of food prepared.Here are links to my first and most recent event to show how the food has become more involved technically.

You got some mad skills! That's great advice. Thank you. I will have to work on getting help... let's just say I like things done a certain way in the kitchen, I'm super clean and organized (tad bit OCD) lol ..

I want to start with a small group maybe like 6 people, already have planned out my menu... start with just a 4 course dinner.. just got to push myself to get it going. Lol
