It's was so Good! Came out of the new publican cookbook. Highly recommend!

Only issue is everything but baked goods are in imperial units...

So I converted the recipe into grams.

French Laundry is a great cookbook.. Very technique driven and traditional French. I use it as a reference for sauces and condiments rather than complete dishes since it isn't my style of cooking. Still highly recommended and a great book to have in collection! Thomas Keller is the master....

Checkout Nomad and Eleven Madison park if you want more modern approaches to french food. (both in flavor and presentation).

Alinea is an amazing book too, but very impractical for most, since most recipes require high powered blenders, chamber vacuums and a pantry full of modernist ingredients. Conveniently I have all of these since I am a food nerd..

Let me know if you want recommendations for any other genre of cookbooks.. I have too many cookbooks... Its a problem lol
