Hi i've been experimenting with sous vide for a little while so does sous vide act kind of like a slow cooker? im wondering this because i always think that my apartment will go into flames if i leave my sous vide on for long periods of time for examply if im cooking a prime rib or something like that i mean these things take a long time to cook so im just wondering if its safe to leave my sous vide on for so long for example. I sous vide a chicken but wanted to go workout while it cooked so i was wondering is it safe to just leave for an hour or something like that and just come back to it.
