Has anyone tried to vacuum seal diced cucumbers marinated in Vodka? The factory says it won't seal with the alcohol.

You can seal alcohol just fine. It might be that they mean the bags are not rated for alcohol solvent.

The bags I sold him with the machine are 4 Mil bags for doing Sous Vide Cooking.

I don't know about vodka but you should try it with gin. Cucumbers and gin are an amazing mix. I regularly make a gin and cucumber infusion that I use to make a wonderful gin and tonic.

What percent of vacuum did you set the sealing machine on?

What machine and so on, they'll vary in how you set them up.

I normally on the Vacmaster 215 do a 50 seconds pull.

A bit less is probably enough, just been where I keep the setting.
