Had the pleasure of joining
@Jeffrey_Kim_49219 for an afternoon of playing. What seems to be common here on the CS forum, he's a passionate reserved individual with both food and drink. We shared some wishes, some toys, knives and of course food and recipe ideas. In an afternoon we through together a few things to go along with some 100hrish SR's that were being treated like goldfish. He made a wonderful acorn squash puree and we served it on a Dan Barber squash that we poached it pork lard and finished with some sage butter and hazelnuts. We did the nixtamalized salsify....which I didn't cook at as high of temp as usual and it cam out a bit chewy (cookn learn) and a salsify-white chocolate dip, some quinoa and bit of desert. While doing all this, he also put together some really nice cocktails, brought some wonderful wines (I think we could have chatted about wines til we ran out :-)..)There was no real structure just tossed things back and forth with " I did this, your turn :-)" and learned allot in the process. More structure needed in the future we agree, but didn't take away from the experience one bit. Look for your local CS member and you never know how nice an experience it can be!
