Made my first ramen from scratch (aside from the noodles). Shoyu Ramen from Japanese Soul Cooking. Not the craziest intense recipe, but delicious and a lot of fun to make. Plan on getting Ivan Ramen’s book and studying it and then finding a middle ground to make an awesome bowl of ramen. Made a double batch of the soup base so I’m thinking of either doing the Miso Ramen next or the Shio Ramen.
