I can't wait to finish the 3 season room at my cottage but I am still loving BBQing under my fav range hood in the interim - I was able to smoke ribs despite a cold, windy, rainy day. Used a blend of Amazing Rib's signature rub and mixed in some Backwood Hickory Rub from the Tea and Spice Exhange I picked up in Charleston. Homemade KC style BBQ sauce with Bourbon, Tamarind and a good amount of Cayenne... also mopped with an East Carolina style vinegar pepper sauce. Smoked with Pecan wood and some Apple Wood from the back field at the cottage.
Also got my Dad playing with the new toy. He loved it and the ribs (Mom is away for a few weeks so he hasn't much home cookin' lately).
