Hi Stephanie, that looks tasty! Any chance you'd be willing to share the recipe for the enchilada sauce? If not, no worries. Thanks!

Thank you Jack! Of course my Enchilada Sauce is super simple,
2 Tablespoons - Canola oil
2 Tablespoons- Flour
2 Cups - Chicken Stock
3 Tablespoons - Chili powder
1/4 teaspoon - Cumin
1/2 teaspoon - garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon - salt
1/2 teaspoon - oregano
heat up the oil in a pan, mix in the flour once combined add the stock, add in the spices
them just let simmer for like 20 mins
Hope you enjoy!

Nice job! Even tastier if you nixtamalize and grind your own masa.

Hi Stephanie, If a few extra $$ floats in (well, not that much, but a few), try Masienda's masa (buy it online), t is nothing like I've ever had (and their tortilla's are great as well).

How'd you cook those to get char on the husk? I usually just steam mine.
Stephanie_Hamilton_470960
Awesome, thanks I will check it out.

I did steam them to cook the Tamales, just for plating purpose I charred it on an open flame.
Every dish I make I base it off how I want to plate something. When someone eats my dish I want them to use all there senses, First to see the beauty and the story Im telling, the smell and of course the taste! All together hoping they will have a memorable dish they will remember and come back.
