Was unable to get a reservation at Kikunoi, but was treated to the baby brother restaurant Roan Kikunoi. Flavors were incredibly clean. Conversation with the chef on some of the sashimi and the knives. He gave guidance as to best choices and where to buy in Kyoto. Very kind. Great experience over all.
