Vacuum sealer by chefsteps ?

I got a very simple question.

You guys created the Joule, it's the best sous vide machine. I was just wondering if you would create a vacuum sealer to go with it .

It would be just so perfect.

Maybe...but I have to say, the vast majority of my cooks require no vacuum sealer.

Yeah but a vac sealer is not only used for cooking sous vide. You can also bag your products to store them in the freezer.

It would be so perfect coming from them. Because they made the Joule so powerful with a minimalism design at the same time.

The absolute best vacuum sealer in my opinion is VacMaster PRO380. The only thing you need to be careful about is the liquid, if that happens, you'll need to fix it, which you can do very easily with tech support and a new part - Otherwise, I think it's an incredible machine. I love the pulse feature, and you can use bags that are 16" wide if you want to, which is great for things like whole briskets.

Agree with Michel. I've held off getting a sealer as I don't like any that I've seen or read about. The fact that ChefSteps created Joule, I'd have the utmost faith they'd make a great vacuum sealer, too!

Indeed, without it, we don't survive in our big family. I always cook for some days (sometimes weeks) and freeze meals in vacuum packs.
