It will continue to work.

It will work. If you connect Joule to WiFi, you can control (e.g. change temperature) from wherever you have access to a mobile network (e.g.set it b/f you leave work and it may be at temp by the time you get home)

same experience here. My wife and I have our Joule set up on both of our phones. It's funny at work when someone next to me sees my phone notification ping - Joule letting me know that the water bath my wife started is ready!
