I've had my Joule for a while (I preordered it when it was first offered). I enjoy using it! I dont use it as much as I should, but I dont always have time to do a slow sous vide cook. It's the ONLY way I will eat steak now though. I got some Stasher reusable bags for Christmas that I am excited to try out.

Welcome, Amy! As you will see on the Chefsteps site and from some of the posts here, there are lots of ways to use Sous Vide besides the typical proteins. it can also be a great means batch cooking on weekends and reheating for a low castle weeknight meal. I hope you check back and find some inspiration on the board.
