ChefSteps Not Giving All Content to Premium Members

So, we now have to buy sauces to get new content? With the serious decline in the amount of new content, it’s super, super lame that you have to buy their limited edition black truffle sauce to get the newest recipes.

So the recipe is in app, but not on the site.

To be sure, it's irksome when they post the recipes on the app, but at least they're available.

Hey there, were these the recipes you were talking about:

Yup. Looks like they added them. When they first posted the sauce, it was listed as “sent with purchase” or something along those lines.

Yes, there really is a recipe in the app.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but what I think Bill is frustrated about is not that there is a "recipe" in the app for the dish, but that there is not an actual recipe for the sauce. I think he's voicing his frustration that all the new "recipes" on the website (the last 4 or 5 at least) are not recipes, but are directions on how to cook a dish with their pre-made, for purchase, sauces.
I emailed ChefSteps yesterday to add my voice of frustration about the fact that there are not recipes for these sauces available for premium members. I received an email back saying, "We have received a handful of request for Joule Ready sauce recipes and this is something that we hope to make available in the future! I sadly cannot provide a timeline for this, but as long as you're signed up for our mailing list, you'll be the first to know."
It's also worth noting that the last 4 "recipes" (read: directions) for meals with their pre-made sauces have been pulled down from the recipe page of the ChefSteps website.

Consider yourself corrected.

Sorry, looks like I misunderstood the question Bill was asking...honest mistake. Hoping my comment still helps bring some light on how ChefSteps is responding to questions about the lack of recipes in exchange for directions on how to use their for-purchase sauce.

You don't owe me an apology. Many folks have asked for recipes to the ChefSteps sauces. It would be lovely if they did, but doo far they've been tight lipped. Fingers crossed.
