Nice! I never thought about reducing in the microwave, but it makes sense. I'll have to give that a try soon. I just put together a vacuum concentration rig like this one described by @Chris_Young_80640 . Should be fun. I was waiting for the Premium course on rotovaps, but I guess that's never going to happen.

My man! I ordered mine from USA Lab based out of Michigan. I knew they sold the aspirator pumps, so I gave them a call and sent them a link to that article and they put together a package for me. It wasn't cheap, but it was way cheaper than a rotovap... and since I'm not primarily interested in capturing the distillate (just reducing under vacuum) that isn't a problem
