My first special multi-course dinner in awhile. Some friends just had their kitchen remodeled and I had the pleasure of cooking in it last night.
My friend has been working on a few recipes out of the Tartine book...this bread was amazing and we ate a lot of it. First course was burrata/tomato confit and chicken liver pate w/ fig jam.
Pork/veal/lamb meatballs in red sauce.
Duck ragu w/ gnocchi, seared breast
Grilled veal chop. truffle polenta, mushrooms, asparagus
