Yes it's winter in Argentina, and yes, there are some truffle productions here... Our meeting with one of the producers was great and resulted in a few delights...
I also found some araucaria pine seeds in a shop here, so was keen to use them...
As my GF is a scientist in soil-plant interactions via mycorhizae, and I am myself environmental geochemist, we'll soon be visiting the "truffière" with it's owner and hopefully harvest some more winter wonders... Stay tuned!
