Premium member help!

Hello team chefsteps,

Exactly a year ago I purchased the a premium membership.

Now you come up with the great idea of studio pass. Of course I am keen to join however I can see that this membership also get access to the premium database.

I feel I would be paying twice if I signed up so I am very keen to hear if you have something in mind for your existing premium members in order to step up to Studio.... without having to effectively pay again for something they already have access too.

Same here, I don't think there has been a premium content recipe since I've purchased it. I like to think that CS will value its existing members and will come up for a solution. I am eagerly waiting for some feedback on their side.

Here’s the language at the time.

“ChefSteps Premium means unlimited access to the full catalog of ChefSteps content, now and in the future. Right away, you'll be able to explore our renowned classes on subjects like sous vide cooking, coffee, fluid gels, and whipping siphons.”

So that was an absolute lie.

I too purchased the premium, but years ago, and I have yet to see the value. Other outlets offer free content of the same caliber, and much more often than this content I paid for. As a business owner, I’m all for paying for stuff I utilize, but until Chefsteps proves they can fill their premium outlets with regular content, there’s no way I’m paying another fee.

Ditto. Feel duped to pay into something, only to have something else tacked on top for the "premium content". I understanding needing to charge annually instead of one-time... but there should be some compensation for your early champions.
