Premium Members

I join the other Premium members in expressing disappointment in the new Studio Pass structure. I bought the Premium membership years ago (a “lifetime” membership mind you) and CS seemed to immediately stop adding content (other than ads for Joule). Now we’re being asked to pony up another annual fee. (Yes, I saw the email offering a discount.) For what? Why abandon the people who supported you from the beginning? Why add yet another pay wall? And why should we trust that you’ll actually add content to make it worthwhile? I’ve referred dozens of people to the CS site, but this feels greedy and dishonest and makes me much less inclined to send people your way.

I am very disappointed as well. I am an early adopter, investing and waitng a year for my Joul. I have also purchased one as a gift. I did not opt in for the reduced price (first year only, people) Studio Pass because as a Premium member, I was offended. Now we are getting weekly emails from Grant with teaser recipes, only available to Studio Pass. Whoever is behind these decisions does not understand that you don't mess with brand loyalty.

Yup. I also referred a bunch of people here. I sang the praises of Joule. Thought it was terrible business to sell me a lifetime membership. But I despise being jerked around because the other side of a contract we had both agreed to realized it made a bad decision. It's unethical. And likely illegal. But the unethical part is enough for me to harbor a grudge towards CS and Breville for a long time.

I also was an early adopter of Premium and Joule. I also referred several persons to CS. I watched as minimal content was added to the Premium (for life) side, and now I'm being dunned for a yearly fee for Studio Pass. Not happy.
