I really hope the answer is yes? I realize that ChefSteps has a new business model and a new investor, but I’m hoping they can throw a bone to the folks who ponied up cash for a premium membership back in the day. I’m a bit worried when I see that the recent recipes have 17 items that are “Studio Pass” and two free recipes ( jello marshmallow recipe and the chocolate chip recipe - that was divvied up into 7 parts). If this is the new ratio 17:2 for Studio Pass I’ll be bummed. Say it ain’t so, Grant... Say it ain’t so......

There was a 39 USD discount, but that ended on the 6th. Unless they bring it back.

They did offer the cost of the premium pass as a discount for the studio pass. I get it, I was ticked at first but I think that is a reasonable offer and the business model clearly wasn't suistanable. Grant and the team have been pretty active since the launch and their are perks such as discounts on knives and Snake River Farms products (sadly this isn't available to me being in Canada) so I am happy with my decision to support the business with a studio pass purchase.

They've said they will be adding to the Premium content too. Although that seems to be bit strange to me. I would focus on the new business model. There's plenty of old Premium content that was worth the price, even without being added too, but I guess it doesn't hurt to throw a bone to the Premium members and maybe they will eventually sign up for Studio Pass to see what they are missing.
