Regarding the need for a stand mixer in the Macarons course…
I've got access to a food processor, but not a stand mixer (i.e. more of a Kenwood Multipro than a Kenwood Chef).
I'm aware that I won't be able to do the NO2 stuff with it, but beyond that, is it sufficient?
From my POV the biggest difference is that the rotary assembly feeds into the vessel from below rather than above, so I can't 'lift out' the mixing implement in the way I could with a stand mixer - but I'm not sure how much of a difference that makes in this case.
