Sourcing Ingredients in a time of quarantine

What are your favorite sources for online ingredients? Amazon is prioritizing critical supplies over their third party sellers, so I'm looking for places to to get 00 flour and the carrageenan called for in the carrot cake. (My local Safeway doesn't carry either)

Whole Foods usually has 00 flour (bulk and one pound bags), Modernist Pantry for the carrageenan. Good luck.

Last time I ordered from Modernist it was using Amazon for fulfillment. Is that not the case anymore? Sadly where I'm at It's a 30 minute drive to whole foods. A little further then I want to stray during our "stay home" directive. I know we can go shopping, but driving 30 minutes away seeems excessive.

See John's answer regarding Carrageenan. I believe you should be able to order from MP directly. Try delallo.com (call first) for 00 flour, but also as John mentioned, Wfds usually has type OO (I simply prefer Delallo-wfds stopped carrying it near me)........and actually many grocers 9Giant eagle, fresh thyme etc etc usually have type 00.....the carrageenan might be a tougher find if MP isn't shipping, but was able to add to cart and begin checkout procedure.....

Thanks for the suggestions. I have a Safeway and a Fred Meyer close, neither had 00 flour.

Checking with MP about delivery.

WF is the whole distance issue.

I must not have a well enough stocked pantry to quarantine and cook chefsteps style. lol

I have purchased Caputo 00 at Fred Meyer. They may just be out, the one near me has no flour in stock.

I've found my best luck going to smaller mom and pop type places or "ethnic" stores. Luckily I live in a very diverse city and there are loads of different Asian and Arabic markets that are usually quite stocked. I know none of them would likely carry carrageenan, but there there is a grocer in my town's little Italy that has bags and bags of that flour. Perhaps something exists like that in your area?

We're about 30 miles out of the city. Seattle doesn't really have a little italy. I've got great Asian markets though.
