Cancelling Studio Pass

I was happy with most of the contents and ideas of my original Chefsteps Premium membership. When a Studio Pass was offered, I decided to try it out. But none of the recipes and ideas have appealed to me over the last year. Now it appears that Chefsteps can auto-renew the Studio Pass, which I no longer want. And they make it very difficult to cancel this auto-renew. I have sent a message saying I do not want to renew, but still no answer. Any suggestions?

While logged in, click on your user icon in the upper righthand corner of the ChefSteps website (not the forum). Click on "subscription" and then "manage subscription," where you can cancel the auto-renewal.

Premium is Premium; Studio Pass is Studio Pass. You don't lose access to Premium if you don't renew Studio Pass.

I've been a supporter of ChefSteps from the very beginning. Like you, I gave Studio Pass a shot this past year & didn't see the value of spending $69 annually for the content I received. Quite frankly, I found myself visiting serioueats.com more frequently which has no annual subscription fee. I own 3 Joules & have gotten more than a dozen folks to by one as well. I will continue to support ChefSteps & would consider subscribing to StudioPass again if the content improves with more frequent new material.

Same situation, sadly. I never paid for Premium, which is a good thing because I would have been massively pissed off when they stopped creating new content for it but I was intrigued by Studio Pass so i grabbed the discounted first year sub and I proceeded to being completely underwhelmed by the content.

They went increasingly basic and the Breville advertising content is not interesting to me, tbh. I also don't care about Thanksgiving, BBQ or burgers and I was hoping for more content using and explaining modernist technique rather than how to air fry whatever you can air fry with Breville stuff.
