It's actually a French Pullman (type of pan used) loaf, thick cut slices. I checked my bread cookbooks and found this bit of info from 'Beard on Bread'. I thought it might help you get started on making this exact loaf! As you can see, the recipe ingredients are quite simple (as are most French breads) but the actual building of the gluten is intensive work so be prepared to spend some time making this loaf. And yes, invest in the Pullman loaf pan for the best results. You'll be glad you did!!

I ate such a dish in Turkey a couple of years ago, and now I constantly cook it at home. However, now I only remember It since I began to eat right and decided to exclude bread from my diet. The body had already gotten used to it, although before, it was really hard for me to get used to it, and I wanted something flour. I also try not to eat any flour except oatmeal. I really love recipes from

since everything is as simple and fast as possible in preparation, and most importantly, all recipes are made from fresh and correct products. So I think that I will eat this dish only if I visit Turkey again sometime
