Just got my new Turbo Joule, set it up and was looking forward to the new reduced cooking times. I tried my three got to recipes, confit duck legs, confit albacore and octopus. All the cooking times were exactly the same as the old Joule.
Isn’t the Turbo supposed to cut the cooking times by up to 50%? That’s the main reason I upgraded.
Anyone else noticed the same thing or did I just picked the few recipes that don’t get the benefit of the Turbo mode?
If the turbo only works for very specific proteins and cuts, shouldn’t that be in bold letters in the advertising?
Otherwise, that’s what we call bait and and switch. That’s bad manners, Breville.
