Migoya's "Perfect Pastry Cream"

So I was looking at Francisco Migoya's recipe here and saw his video for making it in a stand mixer as well. This lead me to wonder if anyone has a recipe for making something like creme anglaise in a blender or something? There are a few parameters to explore, and I was just wondering if anyone already has a recipe.

I can't imagine wanting to vary from the MCAH pastry cream personally.

I concur. It is better to make pastry cream by thinking of it as a fluid gel, this means you can avoid using starch as a thickener. Cook the yolks sous vide until they are solid. Then blend the yolks with liquid (milk pre-infused with sugar & salt) while still warm. Add softened butter in chunks into the blender to finish.
