Generic Foam Magic

modernist pantry has a product called Foam Magic which consists of maltodextrin, methycellulose, and xantham gum. i like it AND it's expensive! i would like to buy the individual ingredients through modernist pantry and try making my own.

for ingredients would i use N-Zorbit M - Tapioca Maltodextrin, Methocel F50, and xanthan gum?
what about the % of each?

there are so many ingredients to create foams  that it gets a bit overwhelming. i though i would first focus on one product, playing with various ratios of each ingredient, and see how that affects the results.
