POS and inventory systems, do they all stink!!??

Hey guys, for any industry peeps out there I was curious if any of you know of any top level inventory software systems and POS systems that you have had success with, preferably iPad IOS. I've been checking around for a little while now and have not found any that aren't embarrassing in terms of limited functionality and even their amateur looking sites.

I'm opening a small cafe in a few months and would like to put in the best POS and inventory management systems I can. Hope to hear from you.

Right now I'm using Infogenesis for POS, Avero for a ton of things but it's a great way to track whats sold (I don't believe it has an app but the website is pretty mobile friendly, I go on it on my phone all the time), and Unifocus for forecasting/scheduling. As far as how infogenesis and avero communicate with one another is beyond me, I didn't set up the systems, but now that I've used Avero I feel like it's a must have.
