Cacao beans

I got a small batch of cacao beans (400g) from some cacao bean traders and was wondering if anybody knows an easy way to peel them. Peeling them by hands is unpleasant at best.

I'll probably try make my own chocolate, but if anybody has some other fun uses for them I'd love to hear your suggestions.

I have no

experience wit cacao beans, but might crunch, melt and strain, would get you to

a result. I honestly don't know if the peel will affect the taste/flavor  during the melting process.
