Fiddleheads

So it looks like I'll be travelling to New Brunswick in a couple of weeks for fiddlehead season, and I'm looking for some ideas. Roasted, steamed etc, how do you guys like them?

I like to skewer them and grill them so they have a nice smokey char on them. I tend to treat them like I would asparagus

Fiddleheads sounds like something you say when your carefully laid plans don't quite work out..... oh, fiddleheads!

Haha, you guys, they're actually super good.
No BBQ Brendan. I think I'm going to high temp oven roast them. Maybe I'll pull a chefsteps and microwave them, although I've seen some information that doing is so is dangerous.

The problem is that you need to ensure that you've cooked them sufficiently or you are in for some intestinal troubles. I think it would be hard to ensure that in the microwave without a lot of trial and error. I usually always give them a quick blanch and then go cook them however I want.
You could approximate the grill if you have a torch
