Lack of turbinado sugar in the House Rub recipe?
dhempel
I noticed in the description that you use turbinado sugar in your house rub, "
It balances sweet and salty from crisp grains of turbinado sugar and sea salt, with a gentle burst of heat from flecks of red chili." but there's no turbinado sugar in the recipe you give. Is that an oversight, or an intentional change?

Turbinado sugar is listed as brown sugar in the ingredient list. From what I understand turbinado sugar is a specific version of brown sugar with fairly large crystals. The ingredient list is slightly less specific than the text. Sea salt is listed as kosher salt, which is basically salt with relatively large crystals.
