Half Candied Meyer Lemon

Anything I should do differently from the blood orange process for Meyer lemons? I noticed that Chris mentioned poking small holes into an orange if following the process for a thick rinded fruit. My understanding is that meyer lemon's have a thin rind, so I'm thinking the original method would work. Anyone have any experience trying this?
