My current favorite from Serious Eats - Silken Tofu and Hot Italian Sausage. What?! Totally does not sound like it would go together but is actually delicious.

Not really weird, but definitely an amazing combination. At Metormafosi in Rome they serve a lollipop of salted cream of blue cheese covered in white chocolate. Salt and chocolate is always a great combo, the blue mold took it to another level completely.
that sounds crazy! i admit i'm kind of a white chocolate snob in that I rarely will go for it (too sweet usually) but i'd give that combo a shot.
