I have a question with regards to baking and the recipes on the site
I've noticed some specify convection and some do not specify - if it's not specified, should this be non-convection, i.e. conventional heat?
I did the pecan pie a few weeks ago and whilst it was good, I'm not sure it baked quite right - the filling seemed to rise up quite a bit during baking and the texture wasn't quite right, and I wonder if it was because I had used the fan/convection setting on my oven? I've got no end of settings on my oven (it's a miele steam-combi) so I'm sometimes a bit lost as to the best option!
