I know I'm getting better at cooking because I was able to make a bearnaise sauce and saute the potatoes perfectly after drinking those 5 glasses. I didn't have a lemon to juice for the bearnaise so I used some lemonade. Talk about improvising.
I cooked the filet sous vide so if ChefSteps needs another reason to highlight the sous vide method of cooking, feel free to mention the ability to cook a steak to perfection while inebriated. I figured I'd go ahead and test that theory for you. It is possible.
